When we were planning our wedding the most important thing for us was that all our friends would be able to attend. We wanted to keep your costs as low as possible so you don’t have to miss out on anything. There are a range of accommodation options available.

We will be staying at Camusdarach Campsite. We would love it if you could stay there too. We’ve checked the toilets and showers and they’re clean and modern, and the showers are hot. There are options:

• Bring a tent. This is the most obvious and cheapest option.
• Hire a campervan. You will be able to hook up to electricity.

You are welcome to arrive on Tuesday night if you’d like. You don’t even have to help us decorate! You could have a barbecue on the beach if the weather’s nice or go into Arisaig or Mallaig and go to the pub if it’s not. The next day you can get up late, cook yourself a bacon buttie and take your time getting ready.

If you really can’t face the idea of camping there are options close by:

• West Highland Hotel in Mallaig is about £150 for a double with breakfast.
• The Old Library & Lodge (winner) is a short walk from the hall in Arisaig. It is about £100 for a double with breakfast.
• The Arisaig Hotel in Arisaig is about £130 for a delux double.
• And there are a bajillion B&Bs. 

If you choose to stay somewhere other than the campsite please don’t think you’ll have to drive! We will make sure you get to your bed. Staying in Arisaig will mean that you can just wander along whenever you like, but we’ll be keeping transport running all night, right up until we switch off the music.
